oars size??

Hello, I have a 12 ft rowboat I m wonderin what a suitable oars that wld do good on 12 ft boat? 6 ft or 5.5? Thanks.

If ya have adjustable oar locks length is op to you,some oars had drill through mounts thats where not so much total length,but length from the lock to handle is important,I've mashed my thumbs from handles too close together.

If you have the adjustable oar locks, I would go with the longer oars. You won’t have as much vertical movement to bury the paddle part all the way and you will use less energy to move you along. Just my opinion.

my boats width r like 40" so longer r better as 6.5-7 ft or what?
