sparcebag Posted September 6, 2007 Share Posted September 6, 2007 If ya have adjustable oar locks length is op to you,some oars had drill through mounts thats where not so much total length,but length from the lock to handle is important,I've mashed my thumbs from handles too close together. You won’t have as much vertical movement to bury the paddle part all the way and you will use less energy to move you along. Just my opinion.
