9/03 tonka report

went out to tonka today on the west end and it started very slow but at about 10:00 we must of hit a feeding window or something because my dad had a upper 40's inch fish follow then 5 minutes later he got a 31 1/2 incher then 10 minutes later i had a 42 1/2 incher smack my viper.Wow a rush,it was the craziest hit ive ever seen.heres my fish. September and October is time to get on 'tonka, I typically shy away during the party time of the summer. Might see you out there......

yea it was a last mintue decision.We werent sure where we were gonna go.it was well worth it though.My had also landed a 19.5 inch bass on a red/chart bucktail.

Sounds like an awesome day RR. I always loved fishing with my dad, and have some very fond memories of the hours we spent on Tonka. Good job.

[Versus]

A couple of weeks ago on a friday night I went out to 'tonka with my dad and my bro. The only one that boated a fish was my dad. His biggest freshwater fish of his life 48" muskie. It kinda feels like returning a favor after all the years of him taking us out. Good times for sure....
