huntmup
I had a 1 in 5 chance, make that 1 in 3, two tags went to land owners. I don't get it, zone 435, Morton to Granite Falls a ton of birds and only 5 tags Oh well I guess the DNR know what they'er doing. No tag for me unless someone in the southeast part of the state will help me out HINT, HINT . Have a Safe Labor Day weekend Dan
Hotspotter
Thanks for letting us know!It got past me once again this year. I knew I had to get there to do it, and it just didn't happen. Will have to focus more on deer hunting is all I guess. As for low fall tag numbers, it's my supposition that they're reluctant to hand out too many fall tags in areas that are just getting underway in terms of turkey numbers. Reason being, I think, has to do with being allowed to take a hen in the fall. High hen mortality, esp. going into winter and all of its unknowns isn't a good way to expand the wild turkey population, esp. on the fringes of its current range.Joel
Shu
My 12 yr old daughter and her friend applied as a group and drew tags so it should be a good time! Good luck to those going.

Greybeard53
My son and I each drew a fall tag again. I just picked up some new arrows and broadheads at the Gander in Lakeville yesterday. Hopefully my schedule will allow us to make your seminar.
