What puppy foods are everyone using. I have a new yellow lab pup. I haven't reseached them yet. Thanks for any input.

Your going to get many opinions on this....so...with that being said I prefer in this order:

1) Eagle Pack

or

2) Nutrisource

There are others that I would also consider.

I'm using Purina Pro Plan for Puppys. Cant remember the ingredieants. Always a solid stool and she is very regular. The guy I bought my puppy from had started her on it. My vet said it was good stuff.

There are many great foods out there. Bottom line feed a super premium food. Eagle Pack, Nutrisource, are great starts I have fed them both and am on Nutrisource right now. Basically look at the ingredients Stay away from By products. Go into a local pet food store and ask for recomendations and that will get you a good start. DO NOT BUY FROM A GROCERY STORE OR WALMART. None of the foods sold at either of those places are fit for you best friend! I like Chuck and Don's but there are other good stores.

I'm with NELS about Pro Plan for puppies. You can pretty much get it anywhere. Plus we have found it on sale at Petco at least once a month which is nice on the ole pocketbook.
