Fig Rig Ice Poles

Hey guys, anyone ever used their ice poles? I'm looking for three new ones, and it's either St. Croix of Fig Rig, but all St. Croix has (with the handles that screw the reel on) are 24", and I like longer ones.

Thanks, but right now I'm looking for info on the Fig Rigs, because Gander Mountain gives us them for cheap since we work there, and I want to make sure their rods are quality like their musky rods. Also, has anyone seen them at a store? I wouldn't mind driving around a little, testing them out at the store, then ordering them through the mail.

While I haven't seen one up close and personal, from what I've seen online and heard about them, they are a pretty low-line ice rod. The St. Crois is going to be a much better rod, and a TB rod even better. I'm a custom rodbuilder, and I've checked out the Fig-Rig musky rods - for the life of me I can't figure out why people think they are anything special. The workmanship is on par with overseas manufactured garbage.

I would agree. I have built a hand full of custom rods and just in my limited amounts of rods I did a better job than these "custom with out the cost" rods. Some of the epoxy jobs I saw on the rods I looked at must have been done by a 2 year old. You don't hear much about Fig Rig anymore- I would go with a St. Croix- the spring bobber set-up is the best I have used.
