summer evening chasing the gills (pics)

just got back from a very relaxing late summer evening on my favorite little "gill pond"...perfect conditions!...the gills were surfacing all over the lake in their feeding foray...I managed a few on a 2" floating rapala and a few bass as well...was only out from 6:30 till 9:00(my canoe) but just a picture perfect evening!...ah! memories

I like the gill. That thing is a monster. Nice pics throughout though. I wish I had a gill pond like that.

What I wouldn't give for a honey hole like that. Heck, I'd even trade my wife for a pond like that. Nice pictures.
