Tinkhamtown
I found FALL and good walleye fishing last week in the arrowhead area of Minnesota (Cook county). The leaves were changing color and the northwest wind had a bite as I camped and fished. The sun was shining on the burnt orange and red treetops with fallen yellow aspen leaves floating in the water as I fished a quit little lake. The rocky bluff on the opposite shore from camp looked like a multi colored bouquet and the undercover ferns were all brown. Enjoyed my first 2007 venison steaks (that’s another story) and fresh caught walleye suppers. I had a good time!Tink

heartattack22
Yea...Same thing is happening on vermilion...cept I haven't found the walters yet. I am going to try the fall spots today to see if they are there. I think NW wind is supposed to be picking up today too...heavens not that far away!!! Then it'll be time ti sit in the blind for sunrise and then switch boats and go catch the limits of walleyes.
