times when walleyes feast

Just curious here. But Ive heard walleyes eat a lot in the fall to fatten up. Also heard walleyes eat a lot in sumer because of increased metabloism. Also eat a lot in spring to recupeate from winter and spawning. So is it just me or is it always a good time of year to find hungry walleyes?

I believe walleyes are always eating like you said. It is just that in certain times of the year there is less food for them so they are more likely to eat your offerings.
