I just picked up one of these,I like to fish for walleyes.Can I expect reasonable detail and sensitivity with this unit? Also, do any of you have any tips on what settings my ping speed, sensitivity etc... should be at.

I have one and love it. It is a very good unit and will work great for you.

Here is what I have:

Ping- 100

Auto Sensitivity, but then I move the cursor to about 89-92

Chart Speed- 100

Make sure the signal is being sent out as fast as possible and being translated on the display as fast as possible. The best thing to do is just mess with it on the water and see what works for you.
