Huntin&Fishin
I like modifided. Works great for closer shots, and you can take shots plus 40 yards.
Down2Earth
Not sure if they make one for a stoeger but if they do a patternmaster choke is the best I've ever used for geese.
Huntin&Fishin
Stoeger is made by beneli, would a beneli choke fit it?
JPowell
I was wondering that myself. I have seen how well the patternmasters work on a browning but i to was wonding if they make it for a stoeger?
Quackaddict9
I have not seen any Patternmaster chokes made for Benelli Nova but they have them for SBE's though.
Fish&Fowl
Are you talking about the best brand or best size? Carlson makes nice chokes that fit nearly every model of gun, and if you don't mind spending money there's Patternmaster, WadWizard, Trulock to name a few. If you're talking size, I like mod or imp. mod for decoying and some pass-shooting (up to 40-45 yds.)
JPowell
i am thinking more of the size. the stoeger 2000 that i own has five chokes with it and i am wndering which one would give my the best pattern for early goose and for water fowl also. Down2Earth
Here's what you need to do then. Go buy a box of the shells you plan on using. Take one shell apart and count the number of pellets. Then place a paper target at different yardages. Shoot 1 shot take the target off, put a new one on for all 5 chokes. Don't forget to label the target with the yardage and the choke tube used. Do this for all the different yardages you would be shooting at. Then on your own time count up the number of holes in the target in say a 20 inch circle. With some chokes it easy to see the difference and you can eliminate them without counting others you would be surprised. I use 3 1/2 fiocchi, kents, or winchesters and the patternmaster will put 90-95% of the pellets in theat 20 inch circle at 40 yards.
FarByondDrivn
Great advice about patterning your gun. I have been hunting with the same gun and cchoke for the past three years and just patterned mygun last weekend. Not only did I findwhich load it liked the best but I also foundit shot a little high and tothe right. I guess now I have another excuse!

QA9, they are the same if you are talking about the SBE I. A PM for a SBE II will not work for a Nova.
