Fall Conditions?

How is this dry weather going to affect the pheasant and the Duck populations?

Any ideas?

Here in the far southwest corner the pheasant hunting is going to be every bit as good as it was last year. I'll be shocked if the roadside counts don't show a lot of birds here. I'm seeing all kinds of birds with some very nice size broods included. We'll see. The ducks are different story. Don't really know what's out there but do know the ponds are getting dryer every day. Time will tell.

123FISH IS RIGHT ON. WE HAVE NOT HAD A 1" OF RAIN IN 6WKS. THE PHEASANT HUNTING WILL BE GOOD. DUCKING COULD BE TOUGH. LET'S HOPE FOR SOME AUGUST AND SEPTEMBER RAINS. IF WE DON'T GET ANY RAIN SOON I'M NOT SURE IF THE RIVERS WILL BE RUNNING.

As long as there is dew on the grass in the morning, the pheasants will be okay.
