Obabikon
Yes, and two of the Gibbons boys have won it the last like 6 years... they're registered again, so my money's on them (and I'm in the tournament).

Tman2
I've been looking for potential bass guides up there. I was kinda searching around for their numbers wondering if they'll pre-fish as I'm going up tomorrow for 6 days. Tman
rockpt
They're probably pre-fishing for KBI this weekend but you can try contacting them thru Grassy Narrows Lodge (807/488-5810) or Pine Island Camp (800/276-1791).
Obabikon
Actually... Bill Luney is a heck of a guide, if you call me at Obabikon Bay Camp, I'll give you his number. I know for a fact he's available.

I know for a fact he's available. Uhh, but who would I ask for? I haven't had too much luck with smallies (at least for size), but I haven't fished deep, just shoreline rip-rap. But, knowing of the tourney, here has to be some size and methods I'd love to learn. Most lodges/resorts don't want to give away their guides to people who aren't spending money with them (which I undestand). So, I'm trying to hunt them down on my own. I emailed the tourney personal once or twice, but never got a reply back. Thanks,Tman T-minus 36 hours to departure...... ooooooohh
Obabikon
Jared is who to ask for... Bill is my head guide, and I'm not working him that week. He'll appreciate the work. He's out here today, so if you want him, call asap, and I'll double check with him to make sure he's available all the days you want him.
