french_lake_kid
I've read alot about the barametric preasure and how it effects bass. Here are a few things I've read/heard, low preasure means they will be up shallow and be going crazy, high preasure means they will be deep, rising preasure means they will be going nuts, and also the same with falling preasure, and last that steady preasure is good to. I know there is a ton of other factors involved too but how many of these are true? The low preasure shallow one I used to live by because I could only fish from a few resort docks. Now that I have a boat I mostly pay attention to the wind. Thx
TurnUpTheFishing
I'll fish anytime but if I could choose the situation Id choose fast falling pressure after a period of stable weather. Ive always heard stable weather is good as well as falling pressure. Rising and high pressure are not exactly ideal but doesnt mean they wont feed, just a smaller strike window. I dont know how much the fish are going to move in the water column because of pressure alone. I think it has more to do with weather associated with fronts that dictates their movement
ikeslayer
i tend to not really pay that much attention to factors that i cannot control. I am sure a particular pressure movement could tip me off if i paid attention but i think if i am fishing that day i will catch them But i don't need barametric pressure wispering anthing negative in my ear. Just my thougths. i will probably never pay attention to it and i dont' think it will cost me much. Different strokes for different folks. ike
