WOOHOO!!!! They all arrived this morning... Muskie Tackle Online sure does it great... Now all I need to do is to get out on a muskie lake, use them, and pray hard I'll get my first-ever Muskie!!! *sigh* The agony!!!! Now I gotta re-do the wish list... Im thinking about adding a Weagle and a XXX to it... Wont hurt...

Used all new lures except for Double Cowgirl tonite at Forest Lake... NOTHING... not even a follow... would the water clarity have anything to do with it??? Its so bad with the algae bloom... Matty and I threw out almost everything we had in our tackle box from 8pm til 1am... he got a sneak-n-peek... but other than that... totally SUCKED tonite!!!

What am I doing??? Im trying to relax a bit right now... nursing a sore wrist... after hitting Forest Lake last nite and tonite with Matty... for a total of 8 hrs or so of fishing... Right now, my attitude is saying, "FULL MOON MY ***!!!" But then again Im sure I missed the window... I threw out Dbl Cowgirl, Mag 10, Rumbler and Raptor Tail Bucktail with nothing to tell about!!! Same goes for Matty... He had better luck, caught a bass last nite then a rock bass tonite... Thats what I've been doing!!! :-) What about yourself??? LOL Im still waiting on your answer for a trip up to the neck of your woods for muskie fishing!!!

i saw mattys message that he had 2 follows last night during the full moon on FL. ah yeah i know i havent been out, a little hard to move around without a trolling motor. September is a hard season for me to do some fishing but who knows? Im very eager for the early goose season!

Well yeah we had follows... but how can I get excited about follows when I havent gotten a muskie yet??? Matty did have one come up to his Reef Hawg and bump it then just swam away... Me?? I had a near-strike on a Rumbler but didnt see the fish (Just saw the splash)... more likely it was a bass... weak missed strike... Pretty much those two nights was more of educational... learning about the weedline on the shores, depth of the water, and knowing that even tho theres a full moon out, a muskie will bite when it wants to!
