Robert DeNiro's son

Robert DeNiro had a son that died...I was wondering if anyone out there knows if it was that kid who played his son in "A Bronx Tale" anyone know anything about this?

No, that wasn't his real son. I forget his name (actor in Bronx tale). Lillio Broncoto or something like that. I actually met him when he was making that movie.

DeNiros son in Bronx Tale was put in prison a couple years ago for first degree murder.

Ok I just did a little read up- he and a friend were breaking into an apartment in New York and were confronted by a cop, who subsequently shot Brancato and was shot by Brancatos friend. The cop later died and Brancato although unarmed has been charged with murder along with the friend.

Dunka.....I was wondering if it was him, because he had a resembalance to DeNiro in the movie.

Actually I think the movie is somewhat based on the life of Chazz Palmaterri (sp) the actor who played Sonny in the movie.
