swedishpimple
I have fished around Morson up into Miles and in Sabaskong, and I trout fish up in Whitefish....but I will be summer fishing for the first time in the Sioux Narrows area in a few weeks. I am wondering which way to go for good walleye action. I have a Hot Spots map and Lakemasters chip...which provide some good info...just wondering what you guys know. KMR85
sorry dont know anything about souix narrows area. we keep going through and all the way up past Minaki on the English River. If you ever get that far, its worth the trip. dont have to deal with as many people and the fishing has always been excellent whether it be 90 deg, calm and sunny or 70 deg, rainy and windy. Hemlock
West of Sioux Narrows about 20-30 miles is where you get into the walleyes. They are scattered closer, but nothing really gets fast and furious until you are past Yellowgirl point.
swedishpimple
Yeah...I was thinking that was the route to take. Well..the wife will enjoy the boat ride. How about smallies....northern....crappie..muskies..trout. Which of these would you persue close to Siou Narrows??
Hemlock
If you are limited on time, I'd throw stuff at the bass and pike. Shouldn't be a problem finding those. Trout, you'd have to work harder for downrigging them in Whitefish Bay, Muskie, casting 1000 000 times to hook one. And crappie's...few and far between. A few pockets here and there.
