Minnetonka advice

Need some advice. A buddy and myself are going to Minnetonka this weekend to do a little fishing. I am not a huge fan of that lake for fishing due to pleasure boaters, but he wants to try it because he has never fished it prior and has heard good things about it. We are not targeting anything specific, just going out to kill some time on the water. Can anyone on here give me any advice?

1. Fish the weedlines.

2. Early mornings are the best time to avoid the pleasure boat traffic.

3. The outer bays, away from the main lake, will have a lot of traffic but won't have as many of the big boats that roll the big wakes.
