Minn Kota Powerdrive problem

Does anyone know what would cause a Powerdrive (about a year or two old) to all-of-a-sudden only run at full speed? It will turn left and right, but only runswide open no matter the setting on the pedal. I tried the neighbors foot pedal and that made no difference. It has been fairly babied, but does sit out in the elements for periods of time.

Probably the motherboard in the trolling motor itself and not the foot pedal.

Still under warranty! Bring it in to Fishlectronics in Fridley.. they have always been great for me.

Minnkota is very good about standing behind its stuff. Find a service and repair place and get it in there. Easy fix.

SAY I'M A SERVICE CENTER. AND JUST GOT DONE WITH A MOTOR THAT HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. IT IS THE MAIN CONTROL BOARD. CHECK THE SERIAL NUMBER TO SEE IF UNDER WARRANTY.
