MotorGuide or Minnkota troller?

I know there must be some of you out there that have tried both or have researched the two brands. What have you found out? Are there any major differences or is it just your own preference? I've only used Minnkota but I'm looking to get something new, so I was wondering if I should only be looking at one or if they are both pretty similar. Any help would definately be appreciated. Thanks.

My old boat had a MK, my new boat has a MG......I miss my MK!!!!!

I've had good luck with both. If you are a bass fishermen like myself I'd go with Minnkota. Don't know how they do it but their motors go through the tuff stuff better hands down.

I like the foot controller better on MK over the MG.
