Anyone else having problems with the new wireless Motorguides?

Is anyone else having problems with the 55lb 12v units? We have had two of them die now. One died after only a week on the water and the second one lasted 3 weeks. Just wondering if anyone else is seeing the same thing?

FWIW, I have an older MotorGuide wireless motor (RF series). It's still working fine after many years. MotorGuide did replace the wireless pedal at no charge a few years back because the original stuck at one fixed speed.

I had to pull it out of the rafters this spring after my other motor stopped working.
