Granite / cultured granite repair.

We have a neat small outdoor fireplace with granite surface decoration all around it.

One of the slabs is broken in half.

Approx 4"wide x 12" long (rounded) z 1/2" thick granite (I believe) or maybe cultured.

What can I use to repair it ?

I know it's not going to look pretty on just like new, but we can live with a crack if necessary.

I thought about those epoxy clear glues, or some sort of superglue.

I'm not sure if it will work on granite, But I like the gorilla glue it holds a lot just be sure to clamp it good for about 24 hours.

I've been around when granite tops were installed,the butt joints were epoxied what kind or brand? I dont know,I do know you could hardly see the joints.

Every install ive seen done they use clear silicone
