trouble with wheeler

I have not ran my '04 Polaris 400 since ice fishing season and she did not want to start yesterday. I got it running but it died three times. After that I could not get it to fire.

My first thought was flooded -- but it did not start after that. Then a buddy opened up the fuel line and thought the fuel filter was plugged -- I am having the wife pick one up along with a spark plug.

Anyone have any other easy thoughts or is this most likely it?

I had this problem with my 400 Polaris and it was a combination of spark plug and dirty air filter. You might get better info posting this on the ATV Forum.

Put in fresh gas along with the spark plug.

Thanks, guys. I had a problem and replaced the fuel filter and it started right up. I will also add new gas.
