Renneberg Posted October 21, 2002 Share Posted October 21, 2002 Thanks to record lows and day time temps only in the low 30's ice is all ready starting to form on the lakes and river in the Ely area. Some beaver ponds had much as half a inch of around the edge.Looks like if the the temps stay they will be ice fishing by thanksgiving. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

pulsar_nx Posted October 21, 2002 Share Posted October 21, 2002 I was out on a small lake north of atkin this weekend and on sunday morning their was about an 1/8 inch of ice on about half of the lake but most of it melted away throught the day.
