Does postive thinking still apply when out catfishing with no luck and its 3:00 a.m. and a hour and half drive in front of you .

This is when I feel most down in the dumps. But!! On Monday morning when I start to read post in catfish forum, my positive attitude comes right back into play.

This has been my weekly cycle as of late!!!

Um. Allow me to interject that the point of fishing is to have fun. If it's not fun, then do something that doesn't involve too much heat or sandflies or whatever stimulus is bothering you.

We don't get paid to do this and it doesn't have to be a death march.

I know that most of the time I go out fishing I dont expect to catch anything unless i had caught them a day or two before. (Except for my one secret spot in MN.) If you have low expectations you cant be disappointed. But I agree fishing is can be very relaxing, and helps you forget about the daily grind of life that can get you down. It makes my weeks go by much faster knowing I will be able to get out fishing sometime during the week and the weekends.
