I was out in the Mankato area last night till the rain came around 11PM. Very slow night. I did see a few boats out and about. Was there any fish caught? Do Cat's bite better pre or post storm?

I had one run last night around 10:45 before the rain/hail started. NO fish landed tho.

we fished the 93 bridge, untill 930, one small flat, one sturgeon.

I got a 36lber and missed a couple other runs. Flats are heading into spawning right now.

I fgot one flatty that was in the 20's and lost one while my buddy missed 3. 2 hookups and one dropped it. Fish were in the shallow current on large bullheads!! I have never seen this before but it seems to be working like a charm the last week or two.

Got a 34 on Sun. in very shallow water but it was about 50yrds towards the middle of the river. The flathead musta thought he was a trout because it surfaced 4-5 times while bringing it in.

Catfishin on the river can always leave you baffled!!! Next time it you'll get a 30lber that thinks he is a smallmouth bass and Make 3'jump out of the water!! that would be some entertainment!!
