Is the rumor true or not, that Ken Griff Jr is going to be traded to the braves????

There is a rumor that the Reds are going to gut their roster. Adam Dunn will be the first to go. If Griff goes anywhere is should be the AL to make his career longer. I know Bronson Aroyyo is like 2-9 or something like that but I wouldn't mind seeing the Twins pluck him off there roster.

Oh yeah I forgot that Griffey is a 10-5 guy (10 years in the league and 5 with the same team) and has a no trade clause. So he can pick wherever he wants to go.

Braves could use all the help they can get right now. One run in the last 6 games total I think. Chipper can barley stand up, Andruw is in a horrible slump and half the guys look like belong back in the minors. Come on Surholz do something before the mets and Phils run away.

Be careful what you wish for, and make it a short contract with JR. His long quality season days are WAY past him. He has missed abour 350 games the past five years for the Reds. He is DH material and that is it IMO.

I Have'nt heard anything about them trying to get Jr. I did hear the Braves really want Burhle- sp? from the White Soxs but the Mets said they will do whatever it takes to block that. Braves need some bats anyway I think.

Word here in the Windy is that Mr. Buehrle will continue to wear a Sox jersey....A Red Sox jersey! This should be interesting, who will step up among the big boys and pull the trigger. Still being debated whether somebody will just rent him for 3 months or if somebody will make an offer and get him signed.
