I am hoping someone out there can tell me what is the best GPS map system.

I personally like lakemaster better. It has more MN lakes. Navionics is spread out over a region, more states, less detail on each state. Check out both of their websites and look at a list of lakes. Choose which one based on quality maps for the lakes you fish most. Some will be in 1' 3' 5' contours.
