scaup
I am wondering how folks keep there food and cooking supplies organized. When I am in the boundary waters everything is super organized becuase it has to be and it is a bit easier becuase it is almost all dried food. No problem, it is when I take the family to a state park that I feel like I am allways looking for something digging around to find it. I am wondering what other people use as system to keep things organized?
FlatBottom
The wife and I like to use tuperware containers for drygoods. Waterproof and easy to handle. But, make sure that if they are going to ride around in the back of a truck to atleast duck tape the lids down or they'll be scattered all over the highway. fishermn
Depends on the type of camping you are talking about, but here's what I do...On BWCA or Backpacking trips, I repack everything into one jumbo ziploc bag per meal, and label it with a sharpie. That way, pretty much everything for one meal is right in that bag. For drive in camping, I use one or two 18 gallon rubbermaid totes, and "try" to keep things sorted the same way, one bag of stuff per meal. If we are working with a really big group, we pack one box or rubbermaid tote with the meals for each day in one tote. This works really well, and keeps things relatively easy to find.
