Pocono - Late start after long delay???

Hey guys,

What do you think of the race still being held on Sunday despite the late start time due to rain. The Pocono race is a very long race. When they decided to start, I thought that there was only a slim chance of getting 100% of the race in simply because it was so late when it started... and with more rain expected, the chances of getting the full race in were very, very slim. While I am not big fan of races being held on Monday, I think it would have made more sense to run it on Monday. I know they have had to do that 2 other times this season, but that's how it goes. NASCAR had to know there was very little chance to get the full race in on Sunday. That being said, I do not know what the weather is like there today....maybe it's worse. Thoughts?

I thought they said that without the additional rain they would have had time to get the full race in... Hard to predict rain (ask those (Contact Us Please) weathermen...) and I guess the "vortex theory" just let them down this time...
