Roofer
For vinyl thickness we always use a .046 or better. Most of the cheaper stuff is .042.
river-rat4
luckey,.046 was the thickness in the above photos.I think installation has a very significant impact on warping. Like nailing the siding down tight, and using air guns without siding spacers (not sure of the exact term). It does not allow for heat/cold expansion.river-rat4
Roofer
If you want to see some shotty work and cheap materials, there is plenty in Cambridge. Not saying your house, because yours looks like a little higher end. The houses behind Menards over there are terrible.A guy can go out and take a look around Scuzman(sp) Lake also. Was out there yesterday and there were alot of storm chaser signs in the yards. Immigrants all over. We even had a few approach us and ask if we were hiring. hahaI'm sure we'll have a few calls in the coming months to fix what some did and are now in a different state, chasing another storm. river-rat4
I was not referring to Glen Roo*ing, if that is what you mean.
Roofer
Yep, that's who I'm talking about. The guys that do the work are not the same people that own the company if you understand what I mean.
