Fishing Walleye

I'm going fishing on Mille Lacs with a launch in a couple weeks. I have never caught a Walleye and was wondering what lures, or bait would be good to use for a newcomer. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

Exactly what Paul said. The only thing you need to bring on a launch is food and beverages. They supply everything you need including bait and poles.

If you go on a good day, your lauch could see 100+ fish and many PB. I got my best a 27.5 and will be hard to beat. Have a safe and fun trip.

Yep, Paul is spot on!!!

When fishing in that large a group, its just easiest and most effective to slip bobber!

Best of luck on your trip! Bring a camera!!! I was out today, not on a launch, but 3 of us boated 30 fish and the majority in the slot!.. lotsa fun!
