MoraFisher
I'm going fishing on Mille Lacs with a launch in a couple weeks. I have never caught a Walleye and was wondering what lures, or bait would be good to use for a newcomer. Any suggestions would be great. Paul Waldowski
Mora,If you are going out on a launch they will have rods all rigged up for you. Most of the launches these days slip bobber.Save the money that you would spend on tackle and just enjoy the trip.
Kyle Sandberg
Exactly what Paul said. The only thing you need to bring on a launch is food and beverages. They supply everything you need including bait and poles. If you go on a good day, your lauch could see 100+ fish and many PB. I got my best a 27.5 and will be hard to beat. Have a safe and fun trip. Deitz Dittrich
Yep, Paul is spot on!!!When fishing in that large a group, its just easiest and most effective to slip bobber!Best of luck on your trip! Bring a camera!!! I was out today, not on a launch, but 3 of us boated 30 fish and the majority in the slot!.. lotsa fun!
