Rem. 700 Value?

A guy at work is trying to sell me a early 1990's Rem. 700 BDL Custom Deluxe 30/06 for $500.00. The rifle is in very good shape, only a few scratches and dings. I am wondering if anyone thinks this gun is over priced. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I did a little search and found a new 700BDL 300mag for 549. Also found a NIB 700 BDL Dale Earnhardt 300 for 629.00

A new 700 BDL in 300 Win Mag at a gun shop is running about $700 nowadays.....sometimes $750.

I bought one back in 1997 for $449-$479 in 300 WM.

It's up to you, but that's probably what I'd ask for mine just because of the price nowadays.
