ikeslayer
So i am out fishing the other day and it starts hailing and thundering and lightening. i tried canning it and outrunning it but just ended up with bloody knuckles. Does anyone know what you are suppose to do when stuck in a storm. Or what is wise to do? i heard one time that it was just a wives tale about the electicity running through water into you. If it does run through the water why don't the fish die. But to stay on topic i am looking for sure fire survival not wives tales things to do when stuck in a storm on the water. ike
Cabela10
Jump in the biggest storage box in your boat . But seriously, I just go to the nearest dock and find cover.

Ray Esboldt
Just don't do what I did about 12 years ago and head back out shortly after I thought a small thunderstorm had passed. We sat one out on shore and headed back out when things lightened up. Next thing I know is I see a spark arc from my rod blank to my finger and I dive for cover. We were not sure where the lightening hit. All I saw was white light, but about 100 yards from the boat ripples seemed to be going in all different directions on the water. I don't really care to be that close ever again.
