Trolling Motor issues - What a pain!!

Hey Guys, Fishing on wed nite and the trolling motor stopped at some time while I was in the weeds. Got after it tonite and found the positive wire came out of the connector. Hooked up with one of those big spin style connectors and it seems to be hooked up fine but still no power.

I hooked up to my small vex batt. and it powered up fine.

Hooked up again w/ connector and all fuses look great but still no worky.

Any ideas for this thing?

IF YOU CAN TRY TO SODDER YOUR CONNECTIONS. WHAT KIND OF UNIT DO YOU HAVE?

SAY YOU COULD CHECK TO SEE IF YOU HAVE POWER DOWN TO THE CONTROL BOARD WITH A VOLT METER. IF YOU DON'T IT'S YOUR BOAT. IF YOU DO IT'S YOUR MAIN CONTROL BOARD.

I guess I could solder the connections to be safe.

I have a minn-kota autopilot(probably around a '94 like the boat. One of the older ones thats white.

I didn't think it was the motor as it worked on my little battery fine.

say, i was thinking of this this morning. check your plug-in on your boat to see if you the right voltage there. it might be your plug-in is bad.

After looking through everything again after soldering I followed the wire and found an inline fuse that went out :-)
