V Hull Bass boats

I'm looking at used boats and I've run accross a few of the aluminum V hull bassboats. I fish bass and musky with some panfish walleye. How do these boats work on bigger water like Vermillion or Mille Lacs? I've never fished out of a bass boat. It looks like it would be nice to be on the larger platform for musky fishing, but are they a bit too tippy for bigger lakes?

  yeah colors are interesting for sure, I think the rounded ears instead of pointed indicate wolf as well? coyote would have narrower snout as well.
