So what is the advantage to these goofy looking hooks. Better hook up percentage? ike

Suppose to keep plastics from slipping down on the hook shank.

I just picked a few up yesterday, haven't had a chance to try them out yet but I'll let you know how they work.

I've tried a few times using them and they do keep the soft plastic from slipping but my hooking percentage went down - the gap is not as open/condusive to hook penetration as the EWG's in my opinion and limited experience with them.

Probably not enough experience to really make a final judgement but it is not looking good so far.
