Water needs for turkeys

I'm assuming this time of year they get all the moisture they need from their diet of various plants and insects? What about come July or August during a dry spell or late fall/winter? I've never seen a turkey actually drink. Anyone know?

Turkeys require water daily and hens will nest no farther then a 1/4 mile from a reliable water source.

We saw most of our birds within a few hundred yards of water this spring. It's been very dry here and they do need it daily.
