Sioux Narrows fishing reports!!!

I'll be in Sioux Narrows in about 3 weeks. Just thought I would get a post running to see if anyone has fished out of their yet, or in the next couple weeks. If so, how's the fishing? We usually fish around the Deadbroke area and surrounding Islands. Hemlock, you get down to that area yet?

If anyone has any good spots in that area, I am willing to trade some that we've had good success on. I am always looking for new spots in that area.

Haven't been walleye fishing yet. Season just opened on Saturday here. Can't go wrong in the Deadbroke area though.

Hey Hemlock, how low is the water levels on Lac Seul from Hudson?

Water levels across the board are down. Lake of the Woods ~2 feet. I don't know about Lac Seul, but would imagine much of the same. Heck, Lake Superior is even experiencing below normal low water.

Hem, how do you think this will effect fishing?

Water was low all last summer, and fishing was great. I don't think they are bothered by 2' less water above them.

Watching for rocks might be a good thing while boating though!
