Startin to see a few begining to spawn!

Ya starting to see some good numbers of carp. But with the wind the last couple of days I really haven't had very good shooting.

Got into some good spawn action today, got 22 in a couple hours but two other lakes I tried were very dead. Definately starting to pick up though.

Had a bowfish tournament on Mille Lacs last Saturday and the carp were real hard to find. Some guys found a few up in the cattails.

are the carp very thick on Mille Lac? I went out there during the spawn a few years ago and we saw one carp...it was a big one!! But just saw (and shot) the one fish.

I got a hook into a 16lb Carp today. 10mins later when it came aboard she had eggs just pouring out of her. I don't care what you say; Thats fun!
