Looking for Advice

Recommended Posts

Fished a local lake 2 times this week for a few hours and each time caught over 20 wallys in 12-14 fow on a point jigging but, they were all small between 8-14". I am not sure what i should do to find bigger fish? There is not a lot of structure just a couple of hard or rock spots. Thanks.

fishing was the same before the cold front, but now the fish were in 12 fow not in 14.5 fow and riggin in the same depth did still give little fish, but fewer bites. thanks i will try what you guys suggested.

ya know walleyes are like women,if you could figure them out, you'd be a millionaire.

For 4 days there on this break ,then they move to that break. 12 FOW ,then 8 FOW.One day there hitting leeches ,the next they want fatheads or crawlers.

One thing that will help you is to be verstile.

Cruise your areas locatings the schools, then go back to see what works.Write it down & keep a log.

What was the wind doing? What was the water temp?

Where was the barometer & what stage was the moon in at the time?

There are so many things that make not just walleyes ,but fish in general react to feeding agressively vs. a negative or sluggish bite.

After awhile you'll get acustomed to how they'll be or have a good idea ,but there are those days that will make you go ummmm, now what to do.
