Cooter
How bout some posts on the biggest coons you've shot or trapped? Several years ago a bud and I were in the great annual Durand vs Arkansaw coon hunt....red neck as it gets - money for most coons, biggest, smallest, all that good stuff plus drinks at Hutter's afterwards Anyways, we scammed two of our Amish buddy's best blueticks, headed down to Gilmanton in Buffalo Co and managed to shoot 3 coons, with one weighing 32lbs 4oz....was quite the thrill for us rookies to show up the veteran coon hunters that night! tealitup
wow 32 pound coon - what is the average size or a coon? My father had one that seemed huge eating from his corn feeder - but that sounds like a monster.

Shoot2Kill
I got one in November that was 32 pounds as well...I thought it was a small grizzly when I saw it laying in my conibear. It had absolutely beautiful hair on it so it went to the tannery instead of being sold. My dog is about 85 lbs - I picked up a road kill one morning in November that was a 32 lber as well....big ol fat bastards here in MN!
Cooter
Shoot, that is a pig for sure! Must have been eating well. When I shot mine we were in a hurry to go get another one - I was switching hands carrying it....my bud was giving me a hard time. I said you carry it and I'll lead the dogs out. Well pretty soon he's switching hands as well!
