Are grouse drumming reports out yet??

From what I've seen in the woods this last few weeks(with camera in hand) it's going to be a "bumper" year for the ruffies...I stopped counting the grouse drumming...yes...that many...I could stand in one spot and hear drummimg of various birds in different directions.....and even got to know 3 different birds on their same drumming logs for almost 4 weeks now...and...they are "still" drumming...they certainly drum for more then a week for sure,atleast in this area I frequent..here's a couple pics from the last week or so...

I was up at the hunting shack over the weekend and didnt go fishin sunday worked on deer shack and even thou it was windy in the morning the grouse were drumming like crazy.I think taht this will be an awsome year for hunting them as well.

Yep, I still heard grouse drumming last week and even the sharptail are still dancing. There are a pair of sharptail that dance on a county road on the way to work. I have to slow down and chase them off the road every morning....

Do you think you can post a picture of the Sharp tails? I honesty do not know if I have ever seen one in the wild. Must be an awesome sight.

I'll try. I was going to snap a photo yesterday but the batteries were dead in my digital camera. My wife drives the same road in the morning on her way to work a little after me, and claims the one sharptail chases her van and tries to run her off the road...
