Wireless fence - Does it work on a hill??

I'm thinking of buying a wireless invisible fence for our yard, but I was told they don't work well if your house is on a hill or large slope. Unfortunately, that's the case with our house. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Just in case someone else out there has the same question, I now have my answer. I emailed one of the manufacturers and was told that they will not work if you have more than a 4 foot slope in your yard.

I'm curious about this. Why would a hill make a difference? The cable should be buried at the same depth. I can't imagine the electronic frequency is affected by gravity/slope. Maybe someone with better electronic knowledge can jump in.

Honestly I can't figure those wireless to be much good. Why not use like Invisible fence. We put it in last year on our 2+ acre lot and couldn't be happier. We have 2 dogs so 2 collars, training, istallation was $1600. For what we got I thought it was a bargin. Works 100% of the time. No worries.
