Gulp leeches

Recommended Posts

I am a sorry excuse for a fisherman. I am land locked in Nebraska and get to go fishing 1-2 times per year. But, I love tackle. I spend hours looking at tackle on-line, paging through my Cabela's catalog, resorting my tackle box, thinking about how I will fish when I go, etc. Needless to say, when anything new comes along I generally bite (like a bullhead or northern)! I have the banjo minnow set from a few years ago and other gimics as well. This "Gulp" stuff has been too hard to avoid. I have made several purchases and have yet to try it:). Anyway, I got some Gulp leeches...they look real, they feel real, they smell real, they taste real (well, I am not sure about that)...Do they fish real?? Can you use them the same way you would a live leech? Anyone have experience with them?

Gulp is excellent!!!! I've been used a ton of it last year, mostly crawlers and twister tails but it's my favorite plastic if you can call it that. It's tough to beat the real thing but they have come pretty close with this stuff. Have fun and good luck next time you go out and give that stuff a shot you won't be dissapointed.

Where in Nebraska do you live? I have some relatives that live near sherman reservoir and davis creek reservoir. Wondering if you have ever fished either of them. I used to catch nice crappies and northerns with my grandpa and my cousin caught a 10lb walleye below the spillway at davis creek reservoir a couple years ago.
