Any tips on what depths or possible locations of some decent pike? It seems like i can find accidental bass where ever i go, but i still havn't figured out pike. Any suggestions, or tactics would be much appreciated

If you promise to cpr, try upper red lake... it doesnt get any better. For tactics, go to the upper red lake forum, and search back a year or two in the april - June months and you will find plenty of info.

They even have a gator contest (I think it's in july)...

Fish for walleye, because then you cant keep them off your hook!

If you're staying in town I would find some lakes that won't be to crowded.

1. Big Marine

2. Lake Elmo

If you want to fight some crowds, try South Center.

Fishing pike is easy. Troll 14 - 17 feet with a large minnow bait.
