Pond Fishing

I was fishing a pond with a few buddies of mine this afternoon and we had the most interesting day ever. It started off with all three of us catching bass on our first casts. We each caught well over ten bass each. My friend tho, hooked into a good one and was fighting it for some time and when he brought it in it was huge! 9.5 lb largemouth! He is mounting that thing and he knew it the second he saw it. Well i thought i would share my day and if anybody else has been on the water i'd like to hear how your doing

Can I ask how long that fish would be a buddy of mine I were out fishing crappies and he caught a bass that was just under 26 inch no @#$@ but have no idea on the weight of the fish since they are not open here in Minnesota yet

9.5 pounder is one heck of a fish. Must have been an absolute blast to be apart of. A 26 inch fish, if it is a largemouth, is an absolute giant by the way, at least 10 pounds i would guess

i heard once that on average, a 20" bass is about 5#. after that each inch bigger is a pound heavier. by that rough estimate, that would make that 26 nicely over 10 pounds. of course that is a very rough estimate.

The bass was between 23 and 1/2 inches to 24. It had just a GIANT belly and was just a great fight. Just a great day pond fishing.
