boat cover?

Can anyone recommend a place to buy a custom travel cover for a 14 ft. Alumacraft boat? I have an older Alumacraft F-7 that has a narrow beam. All of the off the rack models kinda dwarfs it and blows around while traveling. Thanx in advance.

ALl depends on what kinda cover you want to have.

I know alot of people that go to a canvas shop, and have them custom build a snap on cover for the boat. Great idea, is thats what your looking for.

Custom snap on covers are they way to go in my opinion. Go to a tarp/canvas shop and they will bet you fixed up right.

Thanks for the replys. Do the canvas shops need the boat or just dimensions. How are the snaps added to the boat? Which shop have you had experience with? I'm in Fridley.

How far is fridley from shakopee. I know a guy there that does a heck of a job. EMail me and i will get you some informations.

As far as the cover, they will need the boat to place the snaps on the boat. It takes about 2-3 days, depending on how busy they are. They place the snaps on the boat to fit the cover to a T.

Awesome covers that last a long time.

Well, remember I bought mine 9 years ago. It was 225-235. 16.5 footer. Had to leave it there for a day or two! They did very nice work. Hope they are still there. Good luck!
