I'd like to plan a spring archery turkey hunt to the Black Hills next year. I would like to hear from those of you who have made this trip before... Sounds like the quota is good for one Black Hills turkey license with no deadline on the application. Where did you stay? How about public or available hunting ground - Can a guy find ample ground without getting run over by other hunters? Sounds like the B.H.'s National Forest covers the majority of it. Has anyone brought tents and hiked/hunted from camp? Thanks in advance for any insight you could provide me with.
