How to remove old fuel??

Does any body know the easiest way to get old fuel out of a 03 Crestliner super hawk? its rigged with a yamaha 4 stroke.

I'd kind of like to start out with fresh fuel instead of trying to burn up 10 gallons of stinky stuff . thanks in advance.

You can use your fuel line to the outboard for the best results. There are 2 different ways to do it. You could go to a marina that deals in your outboard and buy a connector that would normally be the receptacle built into the outboard, or cut the end off your hose. Either way, just put the end into a fuel can, pump the primer, and let the siphoning effect do the rest. Have a couple of cans handy. If the gas isn't too skunky, you can use it a lawnmower or other lawn equipment, as they are less apt to be damaged by old gas than high revving power sport engines. You could also slowly burn it through your car by mixing a couple gallons a time with fresh fuel (if it isn't too bad). If it's really far gone, bring it to anyone who is legally obliged to accept it as waste.

you can also check with your service station to see if they have a pump .i used a air one last year to pump the gas out of my ranger. worked well. del

At Wal-Mart, in the automotive section (ask if you can not find it) they have a siphon hose with a ball plunger pump on it. It cost's $2.99 and works great. I have one for oil's and fuel's and another for water. Cheap and works great. Now for getting rid of old gas, I will let you figure that out. Good luck.
