Ebiz
16' Starcraft Seafarer Boat Rated for 35HP motor 1300# Capacity Project boat I bought last year - planned on putting in a full flat floor and using it as a fishing and duck hunting boat. Doesn't look like I'm going to have the time to do it - wife wants it out of the yard. Hull is solid and doesn't leak, I took it down to the lake right after I bought it and rowed around for 15 minutes without a drop inside. New transom board and solid aluminum support plate have already been installed also comes with wood template for a front casting deck/platform. Seat mounting brackets are also still intact, if you're going to put bench seats in this will make it a whole lot easier. All you need to do to get it into fishable condition is install floor/seats and flotation. No trailer so you'd need one when picking it up. I can help load it as it's a two person job. Asking $300 just to get out of it what I have into it. Probably worth quite a bit in scrap but thought I'd give a fisherman on a budget a shot at it first. This would be a great boat at a great price for someone with the time to put into it. Pick it up this week and you'll have three weeks to get it ready in time for opener! LovenLifeGuy
Would this need a long shaft or could a short shaft motor work?
sparcebag
Whats the transom depth??
Ebiz
I'm not positive but I believe it takes a long shaft motor. I'll measure as soon as I get home tonight and post the measurement.
Ebiz
Just measured it - it's a 20" transom.
